Johannes Hunter Jewelers in Colorado Springs has been a member of the American Gem Society since 1996. The American Gem Society requires the highest standards of ethics in the industry and requires ongoing education to gain and maintain membership. Our membership is your guarantee that you’re working with jewelry professionals of the highest integrity. Johannes Hunter Jewelers is also a member of Jewelers of America, an advocate for professionalism and high social, ethical and environmental standards in the jewelry trade.
Johannes Hunter Jewelers is an active supporter of the arts and charities throughout the community. We were named Best Jeweler by the Colorado Springs Business Journal in 2004 and Best of the Best by Colorado Springs Style in 2007 and 2011. We were also awarded a Top 50 Retailer Store in the Jewelry Industry in 2012.
Today, Johannes Hunter Jewelers' staff includes two gemologists (GIA), one of whom is also a Registered Jeweler with the American Gem Society. All sales associates pursue continuing education to keep up-to-date on style and business trends as well as industry technical information to better assist each customer.
Our on-site goldsmith is a fifteen year veteran of the jewelry industry and has completed his GIA diamond course. He holds a distinguished certification as a laser welding technician and his bench jeweler’s certification from Jewelers of America.
